The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
